MySpace

I now have a space on MySpace. It's a social network that a lot of musicians are using to interface directly with fans.

I've never been a fan of myspace. It always struck me as a blogging site with a poor interface and an absolute ton of bots and spam. What the heck makes it so popular?

I had surfed there before to check out some of Ty Tabor's stuff, and when I saw a link to some unreleased Steven Wilson stuff there I thought I'd go ahead and join. I might have been under the assumption that membership brought you greater access to the shared content, but that may not be the case.
