RockStar Finale

I was sad to see Suzie let go last night on RockStar: INXS. I really dig her style, and she seemed like a great fit with INXS's music. Of Marty, MiG, and J.D., I think I like MiG the most musically, but J.D.'s style and energy give him an advantage. Even after all his shenanigans, I think J.D. will win the gig.

Since the beginning (or at least since I started watching, about 3 eps in), I thought the final 3 would be JD, MiG, and Jordis.

Jordis faded pretty quickly, (though her performance of "The Man Who Sold the World" was the best I've seen on the show), and MiG sounds a little too much like he's performing in a Broadway musical for my taste. Marty only hits about 50% of his notes, so I can't really consider him. He did well last week though, especially on Radiohead's "Creep".

JD, while not technically the best singer, seems to have the best musical sense and creativity; all the rearrangements of the classics he did made old songs new and interesting again. And his vocal style best matches the old INXS songs.

I'd be amazed if they didn't pick him.

Totally agree! I think Marty could probably get a gig as the new lead singer of Creed. ;)
