Wow, it's only 4 1/2 hours away from me... :)

The day started out slow, but we ended up getting a lot of sales later in the day. I heard the main reasons for the slowness were the Penn State game and the fact that there were a few other local festivals that might have kept people from wanting to come to Camp Hill as well.

At this point, if we make our show fee back plus a modest profit, we don't consider it a complete loss. We definitely did that yesterday.

We're going to ask for a different spot next year. We were at the quieter end of the street (further away from the river).

You know, if you ever wanted a "working vacation" next summer, there's a huge flea market up in Cape Cod every weekend that'd probably be perfect for selling your wares. IIRC, the vendor fee is $20, but you'd probably want an easy-up or some sort of canopy, since it's in the lot of the Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre.

Plus once you're done for the day, you get to have fun in Cape Cod. :)

Oh boy... the logistics of doing a show are taxing enough without worrying about taking the product (and Ryan) on a multi-day road trip. Soap doesn't like being in a car any longer than it has to be. ;)

Thank goodness we get some business from around the country via the website. But thanks for the thoughts...
