Tilin' But Not Smilin' - Yet

DSC03182    DSC03181

We've been at work on the tile for the last two days and found near the end of our work today that we're about 20 tiles too short. We should have some more by Friday so that we can get them all pasted and ready to grout. Moral of the story: always assume you're going to cut more tiles than you think. Our vendor converted Melissa's area measurements into a square footage estimate for their ordering purposes and they (hence we) underordered a little bit. Each 10 sq. ft. case contained 80 tiles. Based on her measurements, Melissa predicted we'd need 409 white tiles for the project and we bought a total of 400 (5 cases); you do the math. Corollary: listen to the engineer!

Our attention focuses on painting the master bedroom tomorrow. We're hoping we can bang that out in a day.

Bathroom looks great, and once you guys bang out the paint job for the master bedroom, I have a computer room that sure could use a coat or two of paint!

Heh.. we got the bedroom done today, but I don't know that we'll be getting down to SC anytime soon. ;)

We picked up some more tiles today and will try to get that done tonight so that we can grout Saturday.
