Protect Fair Use

321 Studios was smacked down in federal court and they've launched a campaign this week to bring traditional fair-use rights to digital media. Here's a link to their Protect Fair Use website:

Protect fair use? Sure.

Allow 321 Studios to continue to make crappy DVD backup utilities? Meh...

Can't comment on their software since I've never used it. I'm a Rejig kind of guy (but it's pretty barebones right now), and I'm about to check out DVDShrink.

I think their intent here is good and that the site is well-focused.

DVD X Copy is a really bad program, and certainly not worth the arm and the leg they charge for it.

You'll have to show me rejig this weekend.
