Last Comic Standing: Reality?

My wife and I enjoyed the first season of Last Comic Standing, but we wish Rich had won. According to this article, LCS producer Barry Katz has some conflicts of interest that are irking preliminary round celebrity judges Drew Carey and Brett Butler. If true, this does sound a little rigged to me.

I like Dat Phan(spelling?). I was rooting for him... all I really wanted was for the enourmous one not to win. I cannot remember his name, but I know he though he was from "the hood". I thought his act was repetitive and he was very arrogant. Ralphie??? I think that was it.

It was Ralphie. He was pretty repetitive, but I thought Dat was more repetitive than Rich.
