Bruce Smith

I was reading a Rob Hurtt article and he mentioned in his last paragraph that BRUUUUUUUCE needs just 1.5 sacks to match Reggie White's all-time sack record. I knew he was only a few behind the record when the season started, so it's likely that he'll set a new record in only a few weeks. I think the fans in Buffalo will have enough class to celebrate if he breaks the record when the 'Skins visit Buffalo on Sunday. I know I will.

Comments

I have always had a lot of respect for Bruce Smith. The guy is a warrior and in my eyes one of the greatest defensive linemen to ever play the game.

Oh well... guess we'll have to wait until after Washington's bye to see if Bruce will break the record.

What a day in Buffalo though. A decisive victory, Darryl Talley enshrined in the Wall of Fame, and lots of Jim Kelly on the TV broadcast. Two out of three ain't bad. ;)
