New Fuel Album "Natural Selection" - Sept. 23rd

I was watching Fuel's "Won't Back Down" video on disc 2 of the Daredevil DVD set and decided to check out their website today to see how the new album was coming along. They've announced that it will be called "Natural Selection" and will be out September 23rd. For those of you who don't know, Fuel is a kickin' Central Pennsylvanian band that's gotten some national exposure. Weirdly enough, the one time I saw them was when they opened for The Tea Party at a show I went to when I was still living in Buffalo.

In the meantime, they have a pretty cheap DVD out now with videos for the new album's lead track "Falls On Me" plus "Won't Back Down" and three older videos.

I guess this is where we diverge musically. I saw them open for Aerosmith about two years ago, and was not impressed. They sounded to me like Matchbox 20 with a bit more distortion.

Fuel is an amazing band! as for the matchbox 20 thing..ha..no they are better than that.

I think you all are silly. I personally love both bands Matchbox 20 and Fuel. I see no purpose in comparing the two because I see them as being totally different. I shall end this by closing that FUEL and MatchboxTwenty are infinitely cool and not worthy of degradation or critisicm.

I would have to agree with Tracy. Both are completely different bands and both are very talented in their own way.

I saw Fuel with Silverchair, Cake, Lo-Fi All-Stars, and a bunch of other bands. Fuel's lead singer had a cold, but he could still wail! I was very impressed- they were the best band on that day!

fuel is great
mb20 is pretty kool too

if you want a band right in the middle though...check out JULY FOR KINGS... at www.julyforkings.com.
they are an amazing band that hasnt quite gotten the promotion they needed to put their album mainstream...its better than anything ive ever heard, and the guys are so kool in person...

dear god listen to them if you even sorta like either fuel or mb20

Nice one AJ, am a big Fuel fan and checked out July for Kings on your recomendation - pretty good, i like it.

Anyone know when Natural Selection gets its European release???
