Thanks for taking part in the League Alex. The Draft was a little lengthy. Would of went a little quicker had we not had to draft for the two no-shows. Thanks for your patience. :)

Well, my math says 12 teams * 16 picks = 192 picks overall. At 3.5 hours, that's just over a minute per pick. It could have been much worse; I tried to do my part. ;) I think things went pretty well. It just so happened that my son napped until about 3:30, so it worked out well.

Thanks for hosting the league. Things are really starting to shape up on the web pages now that we have drafted. Looking good. I just hope the stats service for the software you're using works as advertised. Are you in touch with any other commissioners that are using that package?

I talked to a few owners before purchasing and they say it is the best there is. We'll see once the season starts.

Vick really screwed me. He was to be my number one pick. He also caused me to re-think other picks that involved atlanta players including kickers and rb's.

argh, required e-mail. web crawlers are gonna spam me!

I agree about Vick's injury throwing a wrench into the draft picks, but I picked Feely thinking that he'd be trying for more FGs! ;) I had him last year and did well. Plus, he kicks in a dome 11 out of 16 games.

About the required email thing, I find I get less stupid comments by having that enabled. As long as you fill in the URL box, I don't think the site will ever publicly display your email address on the comment.

Yep, I noticed that about the e-mail right AFTER I posted. So, cool, no harm, no foul. = )

"11 out of 16 games"... man you are into it. I remembered during the draft when someone tried to pick someone that had already been drafted. You not only told them he was taken... you told them what round and by whom!!! You're die-hard dude!

Yeah, I'm a football geek. But I looked up the exact stat for the comment - however I knew it had to be at least 9 because of their division and home stadium (8 @ home, 1 @ NO).

I was recording the draft as it happened - the only thing I didn't keep track of was each team's skeleton. Scott did a fine job of that.

BTW, I had the "commish cam" up (as well as my own) for the duration of the draft and was going to vale about you stealing the console from Scott occasionally. But I wanted to keep my extracurricular comments to a minimum. ;) I wish more of the guys had webcams - it would have felt even more live.

We actually we're going to have a camera setup with a wider viewing area(all of us), but I got there at the last minute and we didn't get it set up. My console duties were at Scott's request! Between peeing and eating, he requested I stand in for him. Swood was on the phone with streeter and marking off picks in a fantasy guide. I noticed everyone cleared out of chat right away, so I think everyone had enough fun for one day!

My eyes started to bug out after a few rounds. A little too much coffee to sit for 3.5 hours infront of the machine with no break.

The toggling back and forth from the chat application to the fantasy application started to just get crazy. Overall it was a blast though. My favorite was Streeter on the phone after he sent me the private message about being so pumped.

It ended just about at my breaking point. I was poised to flee my office at any point, though - my notebook was Wi-Fi'd up and receiving a copy of the chat.

Unfortunately I had my screen entirely filled with an the chat, the league software and another browser for the forums and I did not even get a chance to check out your live cam. I wanted to, but just too strapped. :(

No need for apologies! I was going to make a crack in the forums when you picked Bledsoe, but I didn't think anyone had my webcam up. I was wearing my Bledsoe jersey. ;)

I wish I would of known that. So I drafted you? Heh.
