Enterprise's Third Season

I'm really hoping the third season of Enterprise is good. I haven't looked for much pre-season info about it, but I came across a link to this Cinescape article and it has a picture of T'pol's new look. Well, the eye candy definitely isn't going away... ;)

I'll be re-watching some of my Enterprise MPEGs to get me set for the season opener on Wednesday, September 10th.

T'pol is a piece of ass. I have always been a fan of Star Trek. I would not do the convention thing and I have no ambition of learning Klingon. But the shows are decent stories and ever since 7 of 9 saved Voyager, the series always puts a major babe into a role. Which I dig. I also have always liked Scott Bakula and was happy with the choice of him for captain for the Enterprise series.

I've been happy with the look and feel of Enterprise, but I think the stories they are telling in many episodes are recycled and boring. If Berman and Braga were making the series for Trekkies, they would be accepting story ideas (and perhaps scripts) from Trekkies. As far as I know, they aren't, so they contually recycle old stories and break continuity with established Trek canon.

I find myself watching the show more for the acting (Bakula and Billingsley) and effects than for groundbreaking sci-fi. I'm a diehard, I guess.

I would love to watch DS9 regularly again. I can't bring myself to buy the season box-sets of DVDs (I only own one, ST:TNG Season 3), but perhaps I'll rent them.
