Fantasy Hockey Update

I'm probably the most unlikely fantasy hockey fan, as I haven't watched too many games this season. But, alas, I'm on top in my Yahoo! Fantasy Hockey League as we head into the playoffs. I've been keeping up with my team weekly, making the right assignments; I had the benefit of getting some great players in our league's automated draft. Brodeur and Lalime are two of the hottest goalies this season. I've made very few trades, and I'm really surprised that I'm in first place. I get a bye this week and begin two weeks of single-elimination playoffs after that.

If only I were doing as well. After a hot start, I find myself in 10th out of 12 teams. My problem: my one good goalie, Marty Turco, got hurt. I'm hoping that he'll be back before the playoffs and/or that Ron Tugnutt starts playing better and gets me some wins.

Next year I know - make sure I get two good goalies.
