I played Yahoo's Fantasy Football 2 seasons ago and had fun, but I must say that their interface has improved tremendously in that time. When I played before, I didn't participate in a live draft, but this time I did. It took place last night and was very fun. A Java applet similar to the NFL GameDay Live applets you can watch during games was used to hold the draft, and I and the other players could chat in real time during it. There were only five of us chatting when the draft started, but to our surprise, all ten league members were online for the draft. This was a relief: none of us wanted to play in a league with ghost teams.

I had the fourth pick and I'm very surprised Kurt Warner lasted as long as he did. You can view our draft results here. Overall, I'm quite happy with my team and I happened to get quite a few Pennsylvania-based players. They are talented picks and since the Harrisburg TV market prefers Eagles, Ravens, Redskins, and Steelers games, I have a good chance of seeing many of my players in action without having to go a sports bar. Not that I mind going to sports bars!
